There's more out there. Peak experiences tell us this. This song is about the epic beauty and mystery of life. Calakmul is an ancient Mayan pyramid site in southern Mexico. I was fortunate to visit in 2010. This song attempts to capture the impact of my time there. I hope you enjoy and that it stirs something up in you. Thanks for listening! -Tyler

I guess this is what they witnessed all the aching thoughts weighing on their overwhelmed heads we go hunting for the remains of something filled with bliss; hungry, we devoured all the silence filled with bliss lie all the signs that help us feel alive

And now we're leaving all that's fleeting we've been alone which helps to usher in the hidden meaning
we've been alone not used to seeing tracks or hearing breathing we've been alone

Finding something that lights a fire spider monkeys climb and are swinging higher what we went through isn't it a pity crumbling walls fall on this ancient city Calakmul we found you

Now we're in our rooms lying amongst the ruins dreaming of the jungle freeing us from this eternal struggle dreaming of the jungle...

On these steps that were built with order I can't believe how these roots took over up high I can see south well past the border alone I can sense there is something much more out there...

New tunes! It's been a while...too long. I suppose this was my pandemic project. It began at home recording on an ancient version of Garageband.
