Satellite

I heard the voices reading your letters sentimental and somewhat clever perhaps you wrote them in this room
Is this all a part of my strange adventure I can't seem to find a plausible answer I've tried oh yes I tried to find a reason why the angels took my eyes like an image from a satellite you left me blind
Is it okay to sing your praises it will be sad with no dry faces i hope to see you very soon
For now I am stuck with this indecision how to live my life without any visions of you it'll have to do
I will make my way through though the angels took my view of the city that I once knew now lies in ruins
You orbit way up high you are my satellite (I'm gonna heal your body)

Bioluminescence

I didn't know that we would be alone but I am glad that everyone went home
and we fade out with words stuck in our mouths it is late so we let the message wait
We walked to the shore and stared up at the stars and they have never felt so warm
We listen to the waves as you skipped a little stone and you prayed that it would like it's brand new home
in the water there is magic
Don't bother trying to catch it
We light up like bioluminescence
blazing trails to leave our wild impressions
we disturbed the microorganisms
mesmerized by how they glow
and we buried our scars deep enough beneath and we hang our hearts heavy on our sleeves
and we fade out with words stuck in our mouths it is late so we let the message wait

Driftwood

Driftwood drifting and bound for the shore I drift among them but travel alone heavy is my heart it's okay this I know I carry my strength I carry my hope
Stencils in my eyes and there is sand between my toes the waves are growing high the waves swallow the coast and I'm on your side all of the time
And I have been here many times before and there are some things that I will never know I am a long ways from my home and there are some things that I don't wanna know
Driftwood and I lie in a pile
Driftwood and I have finally arrived

Limo With A Bike Rack
06:33

Baby tonight I have some big plans I'll pick you up at 8 in my caravan hit up a swanky joint and wear my new designer suit I'm up to my neck in debt but my head ain't wet and girl I'm ready to impress you
Maybe tonight I'll be a star when I'm peelin' rubber in my smart car put the champagne on ice and raise a glass for raising the bar I got plastic to pass as cash now let's jet cause it's getting dark
Now here we go once again these compromises never seem to end when you live high up on the hog and it takes a lifetime to pay it off well I don't want to appear cheap but gotta live within my means and I know the slope is slippery but I think I know what I need
I need a limo with a bike rack on the front and we'll be sipping some cognac in the back drop us off downtown feeling buzzed we'll lock our bikes up outside of the club
we lived the high life for a bit but can't afford another sip
when you feel like being lavish but your bank account is less than average
You need a limo with a bike rack
So here we go now here's the lowdown this limo is sick I'll tell you why just like these rhymes there's something je ne sais quoi about this ride
It's putting out good vibes I won't apologize I want substance with my style I want quirky with my sweet on the bone I want some meat want a little less form and a lot more function I'm tired of the same assumptions that a wad of cash will get you something but sorry hun you'll be left with nothing I never did like limousines a little too boring way too tacky I'll take a cab but thanks for asking you may stretch but there's something lacking
A limo driver felt this lack so he installed a bike rack it was criticized at first but it cured my hungry quenched my thirst it's all business up in front for our pleasure in the back now we're moving very fast into the dark we're like a flash
In our limo with a bike rack on the front and we'll be sipping some cognac in the back drop us off downtown feeling buzzed we'll lock our bikes up outside of the club
we lived the high life for a bit but can't afford another sip
when you feel like being lavish but your bank account is less than average
You need a limo with a bike rack
We had quite the time in that limousine completely unjustified and unnecessary but that bike rack in front was the rarest thing it was just like you quirky and sweet and it won your heart
You need a limo with a bike rack

Prevailing Winds

I stroll through the city fallen leaves keep calling me
these memories line tired streets old weathered concrete
Cracks are exposed the sidewalk heaves we drag our feet through days like these
A breath of air that chills my spine ushers me inside
Our beds we build are dead until these rooms are filled with energy this energy is all we need
Our beds we blanket with sheets of snow and we know we need the cold
We sign our names on dotted lines and don’t know why from time to time just like us it gets a little old we’re getting a little old
And the winds outside are howling
And the winds outside keep howling…
Our beds from feathers we have flown that we hold dear but we’ve outgrown plucked from a tired hand that won’t help us fly but will help us land
We have lost a lot along the way
Just like the winds we will prevail

Tyler Cameron Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
New tunes! It's been a while...too long. I suppose this was my pandemic project. It began at home recording on an ancient
version of Garageband. The majority of vocals and guitars were recorded at "The Bird's Nest" (home). Big shout-outs to Mike Ryan and Thomas Stacjer for helping me deliver this bundle of joy. Thanks for listening! I hope you like the songs.
